Saint Nicholas, beloved pastor throughout the churches, treasured saint across lands and centuries, dedicated teacher of true doctrine, generous friend to the poor and needy, quick helper to those in danger, we praise you for your wonders and toil on our behalf:
Rejoice, giver of lifesaving aid.
Rejoice, giver of bodily nurture.
Rejoice, giver of essential goods.
Rejoice, giver of basic liberty.
Rejoice, giver of zealous prayers.
Rejoice, giver of enriching words.
Rejoice, giver of personal fortune.
